Makeup!!!
What comes to your mind when these words pop up?
Face primer, blush, contour, highlighter, eyeshadow palette, setting powder, brushes and sponges, lipsticks, foundations and concealers!!!
The list is unending. We all know how some people can’t go anywhere without a touch of or most of their makeup. Makeup helps you enhance your looks if applied properly. This automatically means that there are some makeup Do’s and Don’t’s.

I have heard people say, ‘ little is much’ and I couldn’t agree more. Sometimes we make the mistake of putting on too much, which leaves us looking a little more encrusted than necessary. There is those times though where much is needed, for instance when trying to cover up a few spots.
Don’t get me twisted on this one but I just feel some people go way overboard with their makeup, you know how you want to apply it on and still look like yourself.
It’s absolutely simple stuff actually and I know it will help some of us get their makeup game on point. We only do it wrong constantly because of lack of knowledge but hey!!
it’s never too late to learn some new tricks. So, 7 make up dos and don’ts.
DO
APPLY
makeup to a clean, grease free face. Always make sure your face is clean before applying any makeup.
TWEEZE
WEAR

USE
blush on the apples of your cheeks. Consider daily blush a beauty essential. It has the ability to make your skin look instantly radiant, healthy and glowing.
WEAR

a soft neutral lipstick. If you pick the right colour, lipstick will do an amazing job of completing your everyday look. If you are trying to achieve a mature and instantly put together look this is the Do you shouldn’t skip.
STICK
with a black or brown mascara. Mascara has the ability to open, brighten and rejuvenate tired eyes. Dark brown or black will lengthen your lashes and makes your entire face look feminine.
CLEAN
your brushes regularly. It’s not only hygienic but also prevents you from applying previous make up.

Now we have taken a look at some of the DOs. Here is a list of the DON’Ts.
DON’T
DON’T line your lips with a dark pencil, like ever. This only makes you look gaudy. Look for a liner that’s closer to your lipstick colour . If you can’t find any, a pencil that’s a little lighter than your lipstick is much better, it will give you a more sexy look.
DON’T
go too much lighter than your foundation please. We all know how foundation is the base of any makeup look. You don’t want to be the girl with a caked up face. Going for foundation that is virtually snow white when your skin has a natural tan makes the product far too obvious and a little scary I should say. Stick to a foundation that’s just two shades lighter than your natural skin.
DON’T
wear a full smokey eye. This look is great for some occasions but will make you look seriously overdone when worn to the office especially. The factual word is scary. Don’t get me wrong, a smokey is absolutely sexy and gorgeous, but only sometimes.
DON’T
use an oily concealer under the eye. Oily concealer will gather in fine lines during the day and ruin your makeup before the day ends.

DON’T
ever go to sleep with your make up on. Foundation can clog your pores and cause spots. Mascara on the other hand can make your eyelashes fall out and become weak, so going to bed with your makeup on is a no no.
DON’T
Don’t ever, especially during the day. Not only do most fake options cripple your natural eyelashes growth and damage your waterline. They also produce the costume look .Save falsies for night looks.
DON’T
put too much powder or foundation on your face, remember you still want to look natural. You recall that saying about a little being enough, it’s very much accurate.
These 7 makeup Do’s and Don’t’s will never mislead you. Look good, feel good ladies.
